Plain terms for Desk and membership.

Desk is $5 a month for the first year. After 12 months it's yours. (Version upgrades are additional.)
You pay monthly, by card, through Stripe. After the twelfth payment, billing stops and you keep using the version of Desk you have.
You can stop before the twelfth payment by writing to hello@thecommons.ooo. Billing stops, and Desk stays open to the end of the month you have paid for.
If a payment fails, Stripe tries again. If it cannot be collected, the subscription ends and Desk closes for you until you subscribe again.
Write to us within 14 days of a payment if Desk is not working for you, and we will refund that payment.
A membership contribution is $25, paid once. It makes you a member of The Cooperative under its Articles and Bylaws. It is a contribution, not an investment: it buys no shares and earns no return.
What you write in Desk is yours. How Desk may be used is set out in Desk's terms.
A tool that shows the record. It writes nothing for you and judges nothing. It is not legal, medical, financial or professional advice.
Desk is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost work or indirect harm, and our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Colorado law governs these terms.
If these terms change, the date below changes, and what you bought stays under the terms you bought it under. Dated 26 October 2026.
