Desk. A human-safe workspace.
Our signature application enables people to work and create together from their own computers. No interpretation, no collection. Just who you want.
In Desk nothing is generated or collected. Your work is kept only by you.
You can collect your work in Desk. Other people can join, by invitation, to work with you. And, you can share your work securely (without sharing your words) with Gems.
Words. Desk is where the work gets done. Everything you bring stays in your browser until you choose to save it.
Rooms. Membership opens rooms, where invited members leave remarks beside a draft.
Gems. A gem lets you hand over the shape of your reading without your words. A gem is a small signed file that shows which of your paragraphs were read and how your sentences followed one another, with their totals. It never carries your words, your notes or the text of the passages.
Record. Bring an anonymized record. Habitat gives back its trace: what it observes in the record, signed. Nothing is interpreted. It runs in your browser, and your file is never sent anywhere.
